announcements for the coming week

OST state testing continues this week for third, fourth, and fifth grade students.  Make sure your child is well-rested, eats a good breakfast, and is on time for school.  ELA (Reading and Language Arts) is the first test.  Each test has two parts over two days.  Encourage your child to do their best and take their time and not rush through the test.

It is time to start thinking about Kindergarten registration.  If you have a child that will be five years old by September 30, 2022, it is time to register for Kindergarten.  This can be done now online and the sooner the better.  If you have any questions about Kindergarten registration, please ask Ms. Walker.  She is an expert!

If you look on the APS website, you may begin registering for summer opportunities for your scholar.  Mystery camps will be offered again this year.  Ms. Noland is overseeing a Camp Invention at Glover the week after school is out in June.  Your child brought home a flyer last week about registering for Camp Invention.  There is a limit so register now!

Spring break begins on Friday, April 15, 2022 through Friday, April 22, 2022.  Classes resume on Monday, April 25, 2022.  Hopefully the snow will be gone and we will have plenty of sunshine.
