Congratulations to Glover CLC’s Teacher of the Year!

Ms. Chris Mathews is our 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year! 

Chris has been an APS teacher for over 39 years! She taught first grade for 21 years, and ended her full-time career teaching kindergarten for 18 years. Chris retired from Akron Public Schools in 2015, but missed working and helping children learn,so she joined our Glover staff in the fall of 2015. She has made such a difference in so many lives over the years for both students and staff! Congratulations on your well-deserved honor, Ms. Mathews!
